Seminar: BONJOUR FRENCH FOOD, Technical Seminar on traceability, food safety and sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) management processes in France, sector by sector

Time: 14:00-17:00 on 16/11/2017; Venue: Level 2, Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), 799 Nguyen Van Linh St., Dist. 7, HCMC

Accesses to market are subject to Sanitary and Phytosanitary requirements. After technical negotiations, a growing number of French products has been recently granted an agreement by the Vietnamese authorities To name a few: deboned beef meat, apples, kiwis, and most likely potatoes in the near future.

This has been achievable because, from the French farms to the Vietnamese spoons and sticks, traceability and food safety are guaranteed by the producers’ commitment and responsibility under an effective control by the authorities.

Those concepts will be illustrated through interventions from the French & Vietnamese authorities and from the French professional associations involved on Foodexpo (INTERFEL [fruits & vegetables], CNIPT [potatoes], FICT [processed meat, delicatessen], CNIEL [dairy products]).

The Seminar will be opened by the French Secretary of State in charge of Foreign Trade.
