Habeco: "Vietnam Foodexpo is a destination gathering leading food and beverage businesses in Vietnam and Asia"

Hanoi Beverage – Wine – Beer Joint Stock Corporation (Habeco) has been honored as National Branded Enterprise since 2012. With this position, Habeco participated in a booth area reserved for National Branded Enterprises at the Vietnam International Food Industry Exhibition (Vietnam Foodexpo) right from its first edition and continues to be present at the exhibition held this year from 16-19 November 2016 at the Sai Gon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City.

"Vietnam Foodexpo is a destination gathering leading food and beverage businesses in Vietnam and Asia with aim to support businesses to update market information, latest trends in the food and beverage sector as well as related legal policies in Vietnam and the world export market. We hope Vietnam Foodexpo 2016 will truly be a platform for domestic companies in general and Habeco in particular to enhance brand image, meet potential customers and exchange opportunities for investment, technology transfer to strengthen the domestic market as well as expand export markets", said Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung – Marketing Deputy Head of Habeco.

 

Hanoi Beer products were selected for display at the Product Demonstration Area of Vietnam Foodexpo 2015

Habeco plans to hold a large pavilion of 54m2 with a modern design style and impressive display at the exhibition. In this pavilion, Habeco will introduce and promote its popular beverage product line in the market including: Truc Bach beer, 330ml Hanoi Premium beer, 450ml Hanoi bottled beer, Hanoi canned beer and UniAqua 500ml purified water. "Especially we will offer free products to customers to enjoy directly at the booth area," shared Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung.

Habeco is one of the leading enterprises in the brewing industry in Vietnam. Its beer output reaches 640 million liters per year, accounting for nearly 25% of domestic consumption of the entire system, with nearly 700 major distributors spreading across the country. In middle and high segments, the consumption of Hanoi beer of all kinds continues to grow and dominate the market. Hanoi Beer has been exported to many countries and territories around the world such as England, France, Germany, Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Taiwan... The export department of Habeco is promoting to bring its products to many other countries in the world such as USA, Italy, Japan ...

"This is not the first time Habeco participates in Vietnam Foodexpo. We hope that the exhibition will be held annually, and of course, it will receive the support and participation of Habeco", added Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung.

Habeco’s representative expects, this year's exhibition will be carefully prepared in order to create a professional, international scale event which can support Habeco and other exhibitors efficiently to attract a great deal of visitors and potential partners in its next versions.

"We hope that Vietnam Foodexpo’s organizing committee boosts promotion campaigns before, during and after the exhibition to make Vietnam Foodexpo as a Big Bang and become a major event in the country as well as in Asia".

"We also hope that the organizing committee will hold many seminars, workshops, business match-making events between local firms and foreign firms to assist businesses to interact, learn, search partners for their commodities. From our side, we hope that through the exhibition this year, Habeco will connect to many customers and be able to seek for additional markets, especially export markets", said Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung.

By far, Bia Hanoi has become a popular drink in Vietnam. The predecessor of the Corporation wasd Hommel Brewery. A French couple produced the first batch of beer in 1890 in Homel Brewery in Hanoi. Vietnam's first beer called "Truc Bach" was born in 1958 in here. Since then, Hanoi Beer has accompanied consumers through various development stages of the country, wrote the story of a legendary drink embedded in the subconscious of Vietnamese people through generations. Today, with its strong growth, Hanoi Beer brand has been present in almost all provinces and cities nationwide and exported to many countries in Asia, Europe, America and Africa.
