Enterprises achieved National Brand will participate in Vietnam Foodexpo 2016

A highlight of the Vietnam International Food Industry Exhibition 2016 (Vietnam Foodexpo 2016) will be the participation of six enterprises achieved National Brand including: Saigon Beer – Alcohol -Beverage Joint Stock Corporation (Sabeco), Hanoi Beer Alcohol and Beverage Joint Stock Corporation (Habeco), Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk), JSC food Vegetables An Giang (Antesco), Tien Giang Food Company (Tigifood) and Rang Dong Plastic Joint Stock Company.

These are enterprises having typical products of Vietnam, that are closely assessed under the criteria of quality, innovation, creativity and pioneering capacity from over 1,500 businesses registered to participate in the National Brand Program.

In this 2nd edition, Vietnam Foodexpo is rated as the leading platform for seeking and expanding business relationship in the food industry in Vietnam as well as in Asia by National Brand achieved enterprises. These enterprises will introduce their strong products such as milk, beer, wine, soft drinks, rice, vegetables and plastic products at the exhibition.

For Sabeco and Habeco, these two big beverage enterprises in Vietnam, attending this exhibition will be one of their scheduled activities within their domestic and foreign market development plan during 2016 - 2020 which are set with breakthrough growth objectiveness, through the collaboration with distributors in key and prospect market segments.

As "the pioneer" of Vietnam dairy sector, Vinamilk has not only thrived in the domestic market but also tried its best to look for opportunities to promote its brand image on the international market. For National Brand achieved enterprises operating in the food industry in general and Vinamilk in particular, Vietnam Foodexpo 2016 is an opportunity to introduce and promote national products to international partners and customers, especially those from Asia. Participating in Vietnam Foodexpo 2016, Vinamilk will showcase the successful product lines, such as powdered milk, infant formula milk, nutrition milk, condensed milk. Besides aiming to meet international buyers, exchange market information and promote the signing of major commercial contracts, the exhibition is also considered as a chance for Vinamilk to support its distributors in the domestic market to promote products and search for potential partners.

An Giang Food and Vegetables JSC (Antesco) joined Vietnam Foodexpo and yielded practical results last year. According to Mr. Ngo Van Toan, Antesco’s marketing officer, the exhibition is a channel to help businesses introduce and directly approach both local and foreign partners in Vietnam. Therefore, this year, Antesco will continue to be present at the exhibition, to promote the company’s strong products including tropical and canned IQF fruits and vegetables such as baby corn, pineapples, vegetables, soybeans, sweet corn... These are products consumed widely in domestic market and have been exported to many countries around the world such as EU, USA, Canada, Japan, Korea... Antesco simultaneously also takes the opportunity to be present at this comprehensive exhibition to introduce the company’s equipment, plant, production capacity, production standards for qualified products, with view to serving markets increasingly effectively.

Tien Giang Food Company (Tigifood) plans to showcase and introduce rice and bottled water in Vietnam Foodexpo 2016, with aim to consolidating and developing distribution networks in the domestic and foreign markets. Rice products of Tigifood, thanks to rigorous testing procedures, advanced milling, polishing, drying systems, good preservation in warehouses and qualified silos, have been widely consumed in most large and small supermarkets across the country. From some initial rice export markets mainly concentrating in Asian and West African countries, to date, Tigifood’s export markets have expanded to many countries around the world such as South Africa, Nepal, Bangladesh, Egypt, Haiti, New Zealand, Australia, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Israel, Switzerland, Russia, Portugal... In which, the United States - a high demanding market has also become familiar market of Tigifood.

Rang Dong Plastic Joint Stock Company will have a booth at Vietnam Foodexpo 2016. Its booth will have a predominant color of young banana green, which will be very eye-catching, impressively decorated, display cling-wraps and complex packages produced from advanced technology, having latest models, meeting general global trends of environmental friendliness, non-affect to consumers’ health and quality ensure. During the exhibition, beside marketing staff, Rang Dong Plastic JSC will also assign employees from other departments such as Export Department, Packaging Department... to welcome visitors and give consultancy services to potential clients.

The presence of National Branded Enterprises together with many other large enterprises at home and abroad at the exhibition is expected to contribute to improve the size, scale, quality and efficiency of Vietnam Foodexpo 2016.
