What's special at Vietnam Foodexpo 2023?

The goods displayed and introduced at Vietnam Foodexpo 2023 are diverse in various fields of agricultural products, seafood, and machinery, equipment for food processing.

From November 22 to 25, 2023, Vietnam Foodexpo 2023 will take place at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City. It will be participated by international businesses from over 20 countries/territories, including the United States, Russia, England, China, the Republic of Korea, Japan, Cambodia, Cuba, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, Thailand, Turkey, Finland, France, India, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, and more.

This is the largest and most important international trade promotion event in the field of food industry, agricultural products and fisheries in Vietnam under the National Trade Promotion Program chaired by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

The products displayed and introduced at Vietnam Foodexpo 2023 are diverse in different fields, such as agricultural products (rice, vegetables, tea, coffee, pepper, cashew nuts...); raw and processed seafood; processed foods and beverages of different kinds...; machinery, equipment and technology for food processing, food preservation and packaging technology, food safety and hygiene technology, and more.

To meet the growing trend of production and processing of organic food, Vietnam Foodexpo 2023 has the participation of many domestic and international brands in organic food, which is expected to bring high quality organic food products to meet the healthy living trend and increasingly high quality of life in Vietnam. The event will feature many organic products such as dried Pho and vermicelli, rice, cashews, coffee, coconut cake, beans, black sesame, milk powder, dry spices, pepper, and more.

In particular, the Biotrade project themed "Biodiversity: Where flavors harmonize" will display and introduce more than 200 products of 21 small- and medium-sized enterprises from the four countries of Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar and Cambodia, including spices, seeds (peanuts, beans, sesame), rice, coconut, jaggery, tea, coffee, and more, cultivated and produced according to international sustainable standards such as EU-organic, USDA-NOP, JAS, UEBT/RA, Fairtrade, Fair for Life...

The state of Oregon (the US) will introduce world-class quality food brands, focusing on sustainability, healthiness and high quality.

Meanwhile, the Japanese pavilion with an area of ​​over 120m2 will introduce to visitors the most typical products from the country's cuisine such as seafood, seaweed, beef, sushi or sake drinks.

In addition, food businesses from the Russia will show a variety of advantageous products such as bottled drinks, frozen red meats and confectionery, bringing unique features from many regions like Moscow, Altai, Khakassia, Stavropol, Primorsky...

To date, international traders and buyers from key markets have registered to attend and make transactions at the exhibition. Within the framework of Vietnam Foodexpo 2023, in addition to booths promoting and introducing unique products of countries and businesses around the world, the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (Vietrade) also sets up the Vietnamese National Brand booth, the Vietnam Digital Trade Promotion Ecosystem and Food Industry Investment booths. The Vietrade will also organize a series of conferences and business connection activities to facilitate trade connection between Vietnamese businesses and international partners.

The agency will also coordinate with Binh Duong and Tien Giang provinces to do surveys on trade and investment environment and policies in these localities and connect the local businesses with business delegations from the state of Oregon and China.

Through the effective programs and diverse trade promotion activities held at the exhibition, Vietnam Foodexpo 2023 will bring practical benefits for the promotion of Vietnamese prestigious products and brands in the food industry, agricultural products and fisheries, while also offering trade opportunities for the Vietnamese businesses.
