The pavilion of An Giang province includes 2 standard booths on an area of 18m2, displaying hi-tech agricultural produce such as: Vibigaga rice and other rice, tricolor mangoes, Cat Hoa Loc mangoes, Keo mangoes, Anticasca tea, Antesco's canned food, Nam Viet basa fish, prunes, Phu Tan sticky rice, beef sausage, dried fish choke, dried pangasius, powdered fish sauce, dried fruits, etc.
An Giang pavilion has attracted more than 2,000 domestic and foreign visitors and 60 export and import businesses inquiring about product information and requesting for offers. They include Kor Industry LLC (Russia), Vietnam Asia International Food Co., Ltd (China), Mina Import Export, Turatti Pacific Co., Ltd., BotaniGro Co., Ltd, ACM Trading and Service ACo., Ltd, Dai Viet Huong Agricultural Products Co., Ltd (Vietnam), etc.
At the exhibition, the An Giang Trade and Investment Promotion Center, the organizer of the An Giang Pavilion, has introduced a variety of local products to visitors. In particular, products received positive attention of many domestic and foreign companies, distributors are tricolor mangoes and Keo mangoes. Phan Thi Yen Nhi, director of the An Giang Trade and Investment Promotion Center, said that in order to better meet market demands, An Giang companies and cooperatives should step up their efforts in applying VietGap and GlobalGap standards for these mangoes in the future.
Within the framework of Vietnam Foodexpo 2018, An Giang's businesses including Loc Thien Joint Stock Company, Long Binh Agricultural Cooperative, Anas Cow's Sausage Production Facility, Nhat Binh Instant Cuttlefish, Thanh Ho Co. participated in the business match-maaking program with importers, major supermarket chains in the country and abroad such as AEON, CJ Freshway, Walmart, Lotte, MM Mega Market, Big C, Vinmart, SATRA.
