Reporter: (Interview Mr. David Johnson - San Francisco and Ho Chi Minh City Commissioner) We know that you have visited some organic food stalls at Vietnam Foodexpo 2018. Can you share us about your concern for these products?
Mr. David Johnson: Vietnam has many high quality food products. We have American customers who are interested in Vietnamese food. So we went to Vietnam Foodexpo to look for Vietnamese foods certified by USDA to export to the US, especially organic food products.
There are a lot of interesting food at the exhibition. There are also dried shrimps that we would like to buy to serve for noodle production. Americans have high demand with these products.
Reporter: (Interview Mr. M.Nizwer Cader, importer from Sri Lanka) What do you want to look for at the exhibition?
This is my second visit to Vietnam Foodexpo. This time, I have found many organic agricultural products right on the first day of the exhibition, such as rice. There are a number of rice stalls in the exhibition. Every stall displays, introduces a variety of clean rice, high quality organic rice. I do not have to spend too much time dealing with promising rice suppliers at the exhibition because they are very professional and knowledgeable about export issues.
Reporter: (Interview Mr. Nahom Garti – French businessman from Vascorp. Can you tell us your visit purpose and your brief evaluation of this exhibition?
Mr. Nahom Garti: I have visited many food shows in Asia and found that Vietnam Foodexpo deserves a regional exhibition of Asia. The organization of Vietnam Foodexpo is very professional. The information on the exhibition website is clear, convenient for online registration. It helps me not to take time waiting for direct registration when being here. At Vietnam Foodexpo, I have been able to find many dried food products that I am interested in.
