More than 100 OCOP products of Quang Ninh province offered at Vietnam Foodexpo 2018

These OCOP products are rated 3-5 stars, certified with food hygiene and safety, collective label, geographical indication marks and affirmed brands on the market; appreciated by consumers. They include Dong Bac liver detoxification tea, Ba Che gold tea, grinded seafood (shrimp, clams, surface ...), young oyster sautéed with meat, Thien Dong concentrates, Ba Kich ginseng concentrates, etc.

Nguyen Thi Hien - Deputy Director of Quang Ninh Industry and Trade Department said that this year the province continued to bring more than 100 unique products of the province to the exhibition. "With the prestige and international stature, Vietnam Foodexpo 2018 will be the bridge to help Quang Ninh products enhance the brand value," said Hien.

During the exhibition, Quang Ninh’s OCOP companies, cooperatives and production facilities are invited to attend the Investment Promotion Seminar in the field of food processing, the Vietnam International Conference on Food Industry and business matching event. These are opportunities for Quang Ninh OCOP companies, cooperatives and production facilities to explore the markets of Ho Chi Minh City, southern provinces and approach foreign food importers from Korea, Hong Kong, Malaysia, USA, Japan, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and China, etc.

The Vietnam International Food Industry Exhibition 2018 has a scale of over 600 booths of 450 domestic and international companies in the field of agricultural products, food and beverages... This is the occasion for Quang Ninh’s OCOP products to be widely advertised, seek partners and expand market consumption. In addition, the participation in regional and international exhibitions has created a favorable environment for OCOP companies, cooperatives and production facilities to exchange information on products, markets, distribution methods with domestic and foreign distributors, retailers and importers. At the same time, it creates opportunities for the participants to exchange, learn, share experiences in producing agricultural products.
