The Vietnam International Food Industry Exhibition 2018 (Vietnam Foodexpo 2018) hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and implemented by the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency officially opened in the morning of November 14th, at Saigon Trade Fair and Exhibition Center, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. Vietnam Foodexpo 2018 attracts 600 booths of 450 exhibitors from 31 provinces and 23 foreign countries and territories. The exhibition will take place from 14-17 November; the first 3 days are for trade visitors and the last day for all visitors.
This is a specialized exhibition of agricultural, aquatic and food products, under the National Trade Promotion Program of the Ministry of Industry. Companies display and introduce diversified products including vegetables and fruits; drinks, tea and coffee; food ingredients; processed food; food processing technology and equipment... According to Infornet, a special point of Vietnam Foodexpo this year is that the Information Technology Application for Trade Promotion (INTEC) of the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency launches the online edition of Vietnam Foodexpo for the first time.
Accordingly, in addition to booths displaying products at the exhibition, businesses can promote products online if they have the demands. This activity is to help businesses improve their effectiveness in promoting products as well as reaching customers better.
Vietnam Foodexpo online will last until 25th December 2018. So far, nearly 300 companies have registered to participate in.
