Quang Ninh's agricultural and food products go to market faster, further from Vietnam Foodexpo 2018

After the opening ceremony of the exhibition on 14/11/2018 in HCM City, the Trade and Industry Television Center under the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency had a talk with Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hien - Deputy Director of Quang Ninh Department of Industry and Trade and Mrs. Pham Thi Thu Hien - Director of Quang Ninh Aquaculture Trading Company – a representative of the Quang Ninh Pavilion at Vietnam Foodexpo 2018.

Reporter: Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien, can you tell us the expectations of Quang Ninh province when joining Vietnam Foodexpo 2018?

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien: Vietnam Foodexpo 2018 is a very good opportunity for Quang Ninh’s organizations and companies to introduce and promote their products, especially OCOP products, to potential partners inside and outside the country. At the exhibition, Quang Ninh companies can directly access foreign companies, learn about foreign advanced food processing machines and technology to improve product quality, packaging and design.

Reporter: Dear Ms. Pham Thi Thu Hien. This is the third time your company has exhibited at Vietnam Foodexpo. Can you share about your business benefits gained from the exhibition?

Our company brings to Vietnam Foodexpo dried minced seafood, dried shrimps which are specialties of Quang Ninh province. Throughout the exhibition, we have always received positive results and one of the most important one is getting new customers.

Attending international exhibitions such as Vietnam Foodexpo, we can exchange information, learn more experience to promote our products. Thanks to Vietnam Foodexpo, we can come up with new business ideas, be connected to trade with big domestic and foreign supermarket chains. This is a great opportunity for our products to cover the market faster and further. At present, our company has been exported to foreign countries, so when we are present at the exhibition, we are enriched with insights and information on the trends and requirements of foreign markets. This is useful for us to prepare well before stepping out to bigger playgrounds.
