Vietnam Foodtech 2018 co-located with Vietnam Foodexpo 2018

Vietnam International Food Technology Exhibition 2018 (Vietnam Foodtech 2018) will be held within the framework of Vietnam Foodexpo 2018, the biggest international food exhibition in Vietnam, happening from 14th – 17th November 2018 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), District 7, HCM City.

After 3 times, Vietnam Foodtech has received more and more attention from domestic and foreign food processing companies, helping to create bridges for businesses outside Southeast Asia to access to Vietnamese market. At the event this year, domestic and international businesses will exhibit on more than 100 standard booths, introducing modern domestic and foreign machines and technology to serve for the production of high quality, high added value and competitive food, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of trade promotion for the Vietnamese food industry.

A highlight of Vietnam Foodtech 2018 will be the presence of two world famous corporations producing, trading machines, equipment and technology. They are Turatti Group (Italy) and Riekermann (Germany).

The organizer of Vietnam Foodtech 2018 expects that the exhibition will be a channel to help Vietnamese food businesses to approach and share experience on world food processing issues and demanding markets.

The Vietnamese food market has long been considered as a "gold mine" with plenty of room for development for both domestic and foreign businesses to invest in and compete. In the coming time, with the implementation of a series of new FTAs as well as the dynamic development of the world economy, Vietnamese food industry will have many opportunities for strong development. Attracting investment in production and acquiring advanced technology will be basic keys to push up domestic companies to develop the Vietnamese food processing industry.

Over the past years, many Vietnamese and foreign companies have actively invested in food processing. Lots of them have stepped up their deep-processing investments to not only sell their products domestically but also to export.

According to Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Le Quoc Doanh, the issue of food processing has never been seriously interested to invest in by local and foreign businesses and localities as it is today. It is a good thing that the number of companies investing in processing technology is very high now.
