3 highlights of Vietnam’s leading International Food Industry Exhibition

Vietnam International Food Industry Exhibition (Vietnam Foodexpo) has become a prestigious destination for Vietnamese and foreign food companies to promote their products, technologies, explore opportunities for business, investment, market expansion cooperation and updates to the latest trends in the food industry. The exhibition will be held from November 14th - 17th 2018 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.

Gathering the largest number of professionals, businesses, investors in the food industry

Vietnam Foodexpo 2018’s scope is expected to be 600 booths of over 450 domestic and foreign companies, coming from Vietnam and several foreign countries and territories. Although there are around 3 months until the exhibition, but according to the event organizer, the majority of the exhibition area has been registered by hundreds of Vietnamese and foreign exhibitors. Among whom there are many well-known companies in the food industry. Thousands of domestic and international visitors, importers, wholesalers, retailers, professionals ... have also made appointments to visit the exhibition via online and offline registration channels of the exhibition.

In the upcoming edition, booths at Vietnam Foodexpo will continue to be arranged scientifically into sub-sector regions, covering a total area of ​​13,000 m2 of SECC floor, including: Fruit and vegetables (fresh, dried, canned, frozen); Seafood (frozen, canned and processed); Beverages (beer, drinks); Tea and coffee; Food ingredients (rice, nuts, spices, additives, sauces ...); Processed foods (confectionery, milk, dairy products, canned and processed foods, healthy foods); Food processing technology equipment. Visitors can easily and conveniently look for interested items.

Valuable trade promotion channel of the food industry

 "Through Vietnam Foodexpo, we can meet more partners, sign valued contracts and develop new distribution channels beyond the domestic market. This year, our company also booked two special designed booths right from the first opening day for registration of the exhibition", shared Ms. Nguyen Phuong Linh - Director of Bonie Bee Co., Ltd.

Ms. Nguyen Thanh, Deputy Director of Lebix Co., Ltd, visited the Vietnam Foodexpo last year. "I had the opportunity to see many kinds of advanced food packaging machines offered by world leading suppliers in Vietnam, instead of having to go abroad to search for. At the same time, I could better understand the trends of healthy food production in Vietnam and in the world. This enables us to generate new ideas for new food business", Thanh said.
