Vietnam Foodexpo 2018: A great opportunity for food businesses

Vietnam Foodexpo 2018 will take place from 14^th to 17^th November at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), 799 Nguyen Van Linh, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. This year, the exhibition is expected to have a scale 600 standard booths of 450 exhibitors from 30 provinces and cities of Vietnam and 20 countries and territories.

The exhibition will showcase products such as vegetables, seafood, beverages, tea and coffee, food ingredients, processed foods, food processing equipment, kitchen utensils and food catering...

In the framework of the exhibition, the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency also co-ordinates with related organizations to organize many events: Vietnam International Food Forum, Seminar on Investment Promotion in the field of food processing industry, Saigon International Cooking Contest...

In addition, the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency also cooperates with many domestic ministries and agencies such as the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Ministry of Planning and Investment, foreign embassies in Vietnam, trade promotion organizations in the world such as CBI, Business France, ITA, KOTRA, JETRO, AKC, ATPF, TAITRA , ITC..., industry associations, local trade promotion centers and companies in inviting business partners and buyers to visit the exhibition. As a result, thousands of direct trade activities at the booths will take place, giving businesses the opportunity to directly connect with business and investment partners at the exhibition.

Co-located with Vietnam Foodexpo 2018 is the Vietnam International Food Technology 2018 (Vietnam Foodtech 2018). The exhibition aims to promote technology transfer, contribute to the productivity enhancement and value addition in the Vietnamese food processing industry, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of trade promotion in the industry.

With the aim of developing export markets and improving domestic goods quality in accordance with international standards for Vietnamese agricultural and food products, according to the organizer, many companies have registered to participate in Vietnam Foodexpo 2018.

Vietnam Foodexpo 2017 attracted more than 450 Vietnamese and international companies to exhibit at more than 600 booths on an area of ​​13,000 m2.
