Trends and opportunities for investment cooperation in the food processing industry

In this context, the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency - Ministry of Industry and Trade coordinates with the Foreign Investment Agency - Ministry of Planning and Investment and other relevant agencies to organize a Seminar on "Investment promotion in the field of processing industry”. This event is to provide a panorama of the food processing industry in Vietnam and to discuss investment trends as well as opportunities for investment and technology transfer between foreign and Vietnamese companies.

The seminar always attracts a large number of businesses, professionals and investors every time it is held

The seminar is expected to gather more than 150 companies and foreign investors to participate in and exchange ideas. At the investment matching program in the seminar, Vietnamese companies and organizations will have the opportunity to work directly with foreign entities to discuss the possibilities of investment cooperation and technology transfer. The seminar will be held from 9h00 to 13h00 on 15^th November 2018 at the 2nd Floor, Saigon International Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. This is one of the important events on the sideline of Vietnam Foodexpo 2018 - the biggest trade event of the year in the food industry in Vietnam.

The seminar will provide participants with an overview and investment policies of the food processing industry in Vietnam. The seminar also provides time for discussion on opportunities in the Vietnam food processing industry such as export opportunities, domestic market potential, global consumption of processed food, investment incentives, roles of legal institutions and advisers. In addition, updated information on investment trends and technology transfer in the food industry is also a major focus of the seminar, which aims to provide information on input supply to the industry, new technologies to add value for food products, branding strategies and marketing for small and medium food companies in Vietnam from the perspective of buyers, trends in food packaging and sharing stories of investment in the food industry in Vietnam.
